  2. Awarded OIST Fellowship to work at Ecology and Evolution Unit, Okinawa Institute of Technology, Japan for 6 months starting May 2017, amongst 15 students all over the world
  3. Awarded ‘Social Activist of the Year 2016’ constituting of a Trophy and Cash Award of INR 21,000 in Celebrating Life Awards by Prama Jyoti Foundation in the memory of classmates of 1984 Batch
  4. Awarded IIT Roorkee Heritage Foundation Award for Excellence in 2016, having a Cash Prize of ₹ 10,000
